What are bookshelf speakers?
A bookshelf speaker is a compact loudspeaker that's designed to be placed on a raised surface such as a bookshelf, desk or TV unit. Also known as standmount speakers, they can be paired with speaker stands for ultimate flexibility on where to position it in a room. Bookshelf speakers are generally sold as a stereo pair.
How far apart should bookshelf speakers be?
The right distance between bookshelf speakers depends on the speaker itself as well as the room size. We recommend separating the two bookshelf speakers by at least 1 metre and keeping 30-100cm distance to the wall to improve the soundstage.
